Announcement of EUTREQ workshop (Paris, 12 May 2014)

  • Infrastructure

UIC has the pleasure to announce that the EUTREQ Workshop will be held in Paris on 12 May 2014 from 10:00 to 17:00.

What is EUTREQ?

EUTREQ is the information technology tool that supports the realisation and the production of all UIC Technical Documents (including UIC Leaflets and UIC International Railway Standards – IRSs).

The use of the EUTREQ system is mandatory for the updating and revision of UIC Standards.
EUTREQ is a comprehensive method to fully manage the Elementary Requirements which constitute the Railway Standards. This official and referenced asset addresses all parts of the railway domain: Systems, Subsystems, Transverse Items and Components.

The 12 May 2014 workshop is organised by UIC in order to make UIC Members at all levels familiar with this tool. The experts of the different IMs & RUs will also get the training to directly use and take advantage of this tool.
Due to the practical importance of this topic and to ensure the widest diffusion of the contents, the workshop is free of charge.

Target audience

UIC Members, Railway Experts working within the UIC working group on the UIC Leaflets and IRSs, UIC Members Quality Managers and UIC staff.
Workshop highlights

  • GENERAL OVERVIEW: design, structure and use of EUTREQ as the tool to share knowledge in the railway domain
  • USER INTERFACE: description and tutorial on the user interface.
