SLoCaT: European outreach meeting on Rio+20

UIC will host on the afternoon of February 8 an outreach meeting on the SLoCaT Rio+20 initiative on sustainable transport.

The objective of this outreach meeting, which will part of a series, is to build political support for sustainable transport at the Rio+20 conference and to discuss how sustainable, low carbon transport can contribute to sustainable development.

This is a follow-up to the submission by SLoCaT to the Rio+20 compilation document in which a Sustainable Development Goal on Sustainable Transport was proposed.
