UIC participation in EC projects requires a high degree of coordination and uniform output in all stages of project preparation and execution, from both a technical and a financial/administrative point of view. EC projects follow three major phases from the initial call through to project execution. These are:
- response to call – drafting of proposals and submission to EC
- acceptance of proposals – contract negotiation phase
- contract signature – life of project begins
The following actions are essential to proper coordination and uniform output from UIC, in order to ensure a high standard of quality and credibility for UIC proposals, in terms of their content but also – and in particular – their financial/administrative dimension:
