After the constant effort of the builders for 1,036 days, the construction of Mudanjiang-Jiamusi HSR has come to its key point. With the completion of the Junshan tunnel as its last part of construction, the work to drill through the tunnel was completed at Mudanjiang-Jiamusi HSR.

Mudanjiang-Jiamusi HSR is a key railway construction project specified in China’s Mid-and-Long-Term Railway Network Plan and the 13th Five-Year Plan.

Upon completion, the Mudanjiang-Jiamusi HSR will constitute a fast railway ring line in eastern Heilongjiang, together with the Harbin-Mudanjiang HSR and the Harbin-Jiamusi Railway, thus forming the Harbin two-hour Economic Circle.

Up to now, the subgrade and bridge erection of the Mudanjiang-Jiamusi HSR have already been completed, laying a solid foundation for its track-laying and work to drill through the tunnel.
