International Railway Training Center for UIC Asia: 2010 Advanced Railway Operation Course for Vietnam

March 12, 2010 closing ceremony of IRaTCA’s Advanced Railway Operation course for Vietnam (from January 21 to March 13 2010), under the sponsorship of KORAIL and KOICA (Korea International Cooperation Agency), was held in IRaTCA center.

This course covered wide range of Korea Railway’s knowhow and technologies like customer oriented marketing strategy and KTX-Ⅱ operation system. Due to various contents of the course such as field trip, simulator practice and team project trainees came up with the future-oriented development plans through the course.

Especially the Team Project, brought a success of the course, gave trainees the valuable opportunity to look back the status of Vietnam Railway and to seek out any solutions applicable to their own country.

For this reason, IRaTCA has been reforming formats of Team Project to increase the feasibility and to meet trainees’ needs by adopting different approaches in each case.
