Slovak Republic: a new Director General of ŽSR

As of 13th October 2010, the Minister of Transport, Posts and Telecommunications of the Slovak Republic has appointed Mr. Vladimir Ľupták as the new Director General of Železnice Slovenskej republiky (ŽSR, rail infrastructure manager), replacing Mr. Štefan Hlinka.

Mr. Ľupták was born in 1964. He graduated from University of Economy in Bratislava and has worked on managerial positions in various companies as well as in the Slovak railway sector.

The new members of the Governing Board of ŽSR are as follows: Mr. Jozef Beliš – Chairman of the Governing Board, Mr. Miroslav Barcaj, Mr. Peter Guttman, Mr. Peter Klinka, Ms. Andrea Vítkóová, Ms. Darina Fabuľová, Mr. František Zaparanik, Mr. František Petroci and Mr. Ľuboš Dojčan.
