Since 3 July, customers travelling on TGV Lyria routes between Paris, Lausanne and Bern have been accompanied throughout the journey by both an SBB and an SNCF ticket inspector, a measure further boosting the quality of service onboard TGVs from Paris to Switzerland. Each company’s inspector remains in charge of safety-critical duties on their own network. Commercial services, however, are conducted by both the French, German and English-speaking inspectors.
