According to a survey conducted in May 2011, Trenitalia’s high speed rail services are yielding greater customer satisfaction. 97% of passengers are satisfied with the “Frecciarossa” high speed train services between Torino and Salerno, and 95.5% are satisfied with the “Frecciargento” services connecting Rome to Venice, Verona / Brescia / Bolzano, Bari / Lecce, Lamezia Terme / Venice, Naples and Reggio.
51% of customers voted higher than 8 on a scale of 1 to 10 on the Frecciarossa services.

92% of customers travelling on the “Frecciabianca” services along the Adriatic Coast on conventional lines also expressed a positive opinion. On average, passengers ranked the overall quality of all medium and long-distance trains, a category which includes services such as Eurostar, Intercity, Express and night trains, at 89.6%.
