On Friday 6 January, UIC Director-General Jean-Pierre Loubinoux expressed his very best wishes to UIC headquarters staff members and their families during the course of a New Year’s in-house reception at UIC HQ in Paris.

He also outlined the main challenges for UIC and UIC headquarters staff during the next period, based on the development of the economy and transport sectors, and on guidelines approved by members at the recent statutory meetings – Executive Board and General Assembly – held on 8 December in Paris.
