13th Meeting of the UIC Regional Assembly for the Middle-East (RAME) to be held on 8 May in Ankara

UIC/TCDD Safety-Security Seminar also planned in Ankara from 6 – 7 May

The 13th Meeting of the UIC Regional Assembly for the Middle-East (RAME) will be held on 8 May 2014 in Ankara at the kind invitation of Mr Süleyman Karaman, Director-General of Turkish State Railways (TCDD) and Chairman of the UIC Middle-East Region. This meeting should be attended by the Presidents/Directors-General of railways from Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Turkey, United Arab Emirates… together with UIC representatives.

Prior to this RAME Directors-General meeting, a UIC/TCDD Safety-Security Seminar organised with the support of UIC experts will be held from 6 – 7 May also in Ankara.
This seminar is open to all railways from the UIC Middle-East Region and an official invitation has been sent by RAME Chairman Mr Karaman.
