TAF TSI (Telematic Applications for Freight – Technical Specifications for Interoperability) is a regulation applicable to the whole European Rail Freight Sector. It mainly defines the messages and their content to be exchanged among the different actors (Railway Undertakings, Infrastructure Managers...).
RAILDATA aims to support European Freight Railway Undertakings in the implementation of TAF TSI.

This is achieved firstly through the regulatory compliance of its services.
RAILDATA actively participates in the different structures managing the evolution and the change requests (Joint Sector Group, SMO....) and also takes part in the TAF TSI Steering Board as an observer.

In addition, RAILDATA is about to set up a special group dedicated to this regulation in coordination with the UIC Freight IT Study Group. This group is created to support Railway Undertakings in the roll out of the TAF TSI RU/RU related functions. It is fully open to every European Freight RU, RAILDATA, member or not.
