This is another step in the further development of business and long-term, mutually beneficial relations between the two largest (finance and transport) organisations in the country.

The memorandum, in particular, provides expansion of cooperation in organisational and information support, search and advance of new technologies aimed to improve the quality and convenience of the companies’ customer service. The document provides for the introduction of modern information technologies allowing railway customers to pay for the transport of goods round-the-clock (in a 24/7 format), in a convenient place for them, by means of Internet banking, JSC Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan self-service terminals, or by making a payment on the JSC NС KTZ website.

In addition, Kazakhstan Temir Joly National Company together with JSC Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan will implement mutually beneficial social projects aimed at supporting railway workers. A well-established programme of preferential mortgage lending to employees of the railway industry is already in place.

During the signing of the Memorandum several employees of the railway industry who have issued mortgage lending on the basis of the Agreement on Cooperation between JSC NC KTZ and JSC Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan were awarded valuable prizes.
