Georgian Railway issued international certificate of quality management

On 12 January 2015, JSC Georgian Railway was issued the international certificate of Quality Management ISO 9001:2008.

After several months of the preparatory work being carried out by Georgian Railway, international company INTERTEK audited the quality of corporate management of the railway and has confirmed its compliance with the standard ISO 9001 and issued the corresponding certificate.

JSC Georgian Railway considers the effective system of quality control to be an integral part and one of the major pre-conditions for the growth of the company. JSC Georgian Railway focuses on the continuous development and improvement of its corporate governance systems and on meeting the requirements of its clients, partners and all other interested parties. The railway’s management carries out systematic reforms, under which introduction of several new systems is planned. This should provide a new stage for the development of Georgian Railway.
