Belarusian Railways participate in XXIV Plenary Meeting of the Coordinating Council on Trans-Siberian Transportation

A delegation of Belarusian Railways participated in the 24th Plenary Meeting of the Coordinating Council on Trans-Siberian Transportation International Association in Vienna.

The delegation was led by Vladimir Mikhailyuk, First Deputy Head of Belarusian Railways.

A range of issues, including the development of infrastructure on the Trans-Siberian route, increased competitiveness, etc., were considered at the Plenary Meeting. The participants also discussed how to enhance the volumes of cargo transport on the Trans-Siberian railway, how to find new solutions in the areas of cargo transport and logistics on the Eurasian route and many other issues.

Belarusian Railways are a link between the Trans-Siberian railway and the railway networks of Eastern and Western Europe.
