“Sectioning of tracks is one of the ways of increasing the capacity of the rail transport network, using this system which has been designed and is operated by the skilful hands of Iranian experts, based now for the first time on the latest up-to-date world standards, on the Tehran-Mashad route with its 50 stations and 926 km of track.”
He added, “The capacity of the Tehran-Mashad route will be increased by 3 compared with the current level, train dispatching will be reduced from 20 minutes to 7 minutes, and the daily commuting of 200 train sets will be possible on this route by operating this network.
