Belarus/Poland: Belarusian Railways and the Polish company PKP Intercity launch a Krakow-Warsaw-Grodno rail service from 4 September 2016

Belarusian Railways and the Polish company PKP Intercity have launched a Krakow-Warsaw-Grodno rail service from 4 September.

The route will be serviced by a Polish train that will run daily between Grodno and Krakow via Warsaw, Bialystok and Kuznica. The train will depart from Grodno at 15:32 to make a stop in Bialystok at 17:08, another one at the Warsaw Central Railway Station (Warszawa Centralna) at 20:15, and finally arrive in Krakow at 23:04.

On the way back, it will depart from Krakow at 4:46, make a stop in Warsaw at 7:36, in Bialystok at 10:30, and reach Grodno at 14:22. The price of a one-way ticket to Kuznica is Br13.33, to Bialystok Br16.39, to Warsaw Br34.31, and to Krakow Br46.77.

The project is expected to make railway transport more attractive for passengers and tourists.
