UIC participated in meeting with Public Transport Authority of Western Australia

On 13 April 2017 UIC took part in a meeting at the Public Transport Authority of Western Australia.

During the meeting, Teodor Gradinariu, UIC Senior Technical Advisor, introduced UIC and its activities, explained how to become a member, and presented a number of projects such as Asset Management, ISO 55000 implementation guidelines, LICB, UIC Smart KPIs, Leaflets and IRSs (International Railway Solution), and SATLOC.

Mr Gradinariu also held interesting discussions with:

Mrs Rebeca Taylor, Control System Engineering Manager, Dr Frank Heibel, Project Manager Automatic Train Control, Mrs Quian Zheng, Risk Management Coordinator, Automatic Train Control, Mr Michael Crocker Project Officer, Radio Systems Replacement, Mr Kelvin Liu, Project Officer, Automatic Train Control.

Following the meeting a visit was organised to the Train Control Centre (TCC) of the Public Transport Authority of Western Australia, hosted by David Van de Velde, the Train Services Manager.
