Kazakhstan: Kanat Alpysbaev says “The Association of National Forwarders has made a significant contribution to the development of Kazakhstan’s transport industry”

On 1 November 2017, an international practical conference entitled “20 years of creation. Strength in unity” was held at JSC NC KTZ, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Association of National Freight Forwarders of Kazakhstan.

The head of JSC NC KTZ Kanat Alpysbayev delivered a speech.
“From the first days of Independence, the Head of State has paid great attention to the activities and development of rail transport,” K. Alpysbaev said and dwelled on the results of the implementation of the state policy on the formation and strengthening of the transport and logistics complex of Kazakhstan.

"20 years ago, significant events took place in the history of the railway transport of sovereign Kazakhstan - the RSE “Kazakhstan Temir Zholy” was established on the basis of the three railways, and the Kazakhstan forwarders joined the Association of National Forwarders," said Kanat Alpysbayev, the head of JSC NC KTZ.

According to the head of the company, thousands of kilometres of infrastructure have been built and modernised, its own branch of railway engineering has been created, the rolling stock has been updated, a network of high-speed passenger communication has been formed, and new cargo flows have been actively involved in transcontinental communication.

On behalf of the Head of the State, JSC NC KTZ carries out railway and sea transportation, renders services of transport and logistics centres, as well as sea port, airport and road infrastructure.

The head of JSC NC KTZ noted the role of ANEK in the development of the transport industry, the growing competitiveness of transport and logistics services, the realisation of the country’s export and transit potential.

“Active participation of ANEK in solving the problems facing the Company in the coming decade will contribute both to the growth of attractiveness of domestic transport and logistics services and to the improvement of the quality of freight traffic on the global market,” concluded K. Alpysbaev.

Speaking at the conference, the Honorary Chairman of the ANEK, veteran of the railway industry N. Isingarin noted the importance of the measures taken by JSC NC KTZ for the development of transport business, which “began to develop during the reform of the railways in Kazakhstan. This is the activity of forwarders, car operators, logistics operators.”

The head of the JSC NC KTZ K. Alpysbaev was awarded a commemorative badge from the Association of National Freight Forwarders of Kazakhstan for special merits in the development of forwarding business.
