Organised by China Railway, a meeting for the submission of technical proposals for the 250km/h “Fuxing” Chinese Standard EMU was held in Shanghai on 25 October 2017. This marks the beginning of research and development for the 250km/h “Fuxing” Chinese Standard EMU, a new member of the “Fuxing” family.

Compared with the existing 250km/h “Hexie” EMU Trains, the 250km/h “Fuxing” Chinese Standard EMU will witness four improvements: independent R&D, improved performance, higher intelligence and full adoption of Chinese standards.

China Railway will finalise the technical plan for the 250km/h “Fuxing” Chinese Standard EMU and subsequently carry out the research and development of sample trains.
