Since 1 July 2019, JSC Passenger Transport has switched to an improved system of sales of electronic travel documents (tickets). The automated system of ticket sales has undergone significant changes in order to eliminate the influence of the human factor.
Thus, the system is improved and significantly reduces the likelihood of fraud in the field of ticket sales.
One of the main points in changing the operation of the railway ticket sales system was the introduction of a single waiting list, which allows the implementation of tickets without the influence of the human factor.
In general, to date, it has been possible to purchase tickets through 233 ticket offices of JSC Passenger Transport and more than 4,500 private ticket offices, as well as through more than 4,000 self-service terminals.
