IRSMI is not willing to provide off-the-shelf solutions, but prefers to develop integrated custom programmes designed to:
- Help railways devise and implement new strategies and managerial solutions
- Support railways’ sustainable development
The IRSMI programme targets Senior Railway Managers and Leaders with at least 10 years of managerial experience and the potential to take on a top management role. A key goal is to bring together executives from diverse backgrounds and areas of the world.
The programme has three core objectives:
- Developing a breadth of transversal business skills consistent with the latest in international best practice
- Building strong leadership competencies to maximise the personal impact of senior railway managers
- Encouraging international benchmarking and networking through a diversity of participants, academics, and industry experts
In addition to the post programme certificate participants will acquire credits towards the Executive MBA Programme of EML Executive Development – ranked nr 3 worldwide in terms of career development after completion of the programme by the Financial Times ranking 2012.
