Service counter expansion for travellers visiting Japan

Travellers visiting Japan are expected to increase further in the coming years. To respond to customer needs increasing accordingly, we are expanding our “JR EAST Travel Service Centre” facility at the Narita Airport Terminal 2・3 by increasing service counter space catering for visitors from overseas.

Our aim is to provide service which supports pleasant railway journeys for travellers visiting Japan.

Expansion Overview

Due to the increase in travellers visiting Japan and subsequent overcrowding of our service counters, we will be increasing the number of service counters available.

Planned completion date of expansion: Late January 2017
Number of new service counters: 4 (Making a total of 8 including the existing 4 counters)

*The current centre will continue to operate while expansion work is being carried out.
